Concrete Leveling

Concrete Self-Leveling Substrates

Achieving a dead-level floor requires precision and attention to detail. Whether it’s for hardwood installation or a suspended concrete slab, each self-leveling system has specific application needs—ranging from wood primers and concrete primers to lightweight compounds, depending on the existing subfloor.

Every uneven subfloor must be laser-inspected and assigned an approximate bag count to ensure proper leveling. The concrete must be sound and free of contaminants such as oil or grease. For slab-on-grade applications, a vapor barrier may be required. Any cracks or damaged areas must be patched, and cracks must be foamed before proceeding.

A CSP 2 surface profile is required, achieved by grinding the surface to ensure proper bonding of the self-leveling compound. After the compound is applied, we reassess the entire surface using both laser and straight-edge tools. We remove all temporary foam and regrind as needed to meet floor code requirements.

From setting up mixing stations to mechanical preparation and application, we take care at every step. Whether the project is residential or commercial, we understand and comply with silica dust control requirements, using the appropriate equipment to complete each job safely and professionally.
